Last weekend I had my second weekend in the wilderness with Unyoked and really enjoyed the time out.
I can't believe it's almost exactly 2 years since I last did this, and this year, after the cancer treatment, taking time out feels more important than ever.
Time to relax, with an intent for zero screen time, seems so refreshing.
Daily life can feel so constantly on the go, that to have some dedicated time when there is literally nothing you should be doing, except relaxing, is ideal.
We stayed in Zaid this time, and had endless views of trees, including the big valley of the Shoalhaven River, and this time it was a very easy 180m walk from the car.
The thing I absolutely loved about this location was the wildilfe, we saw lots of birds and quite a few kangaroos which I would love to say is normal in Australia, but there are few places you can really go and stay and see them so close in the wild 💛.
I found myself wanting to have this kind of experience more regularly!
