Visiting Phillip Island had been on my list for some time and it did not disappoint.
The coastline is pristine and there are so many beautiful places to visit. The Penguin Parade is also a must for everyone that loves wildlife.
I stayed at Wyndham Phillip Island in a 2-bedroom villa which was fantastic.
I was amazed at how often it felt like there was no-one else around. In most tourist locations these days that is very rare.
Phillip Island is home to the world's largest colony of Little Penguins, and the Penguin Parade was the only place were I saw a lot of other tourists. I was pleased the area was set up well to manage the high volumes of people to minimise the impact on wildlife.
I couldn't take any photos as the penguins come in as it gets dark and flash photography is not allowed, but I was in awe of the penguins, they were so beautiful and it was a joy to see them come home for the night.
If you are keen to see the penguins, book tickets well in advance as they can sell out, and rug up, it was freezing while waiting, but well worth the wait.
