Discovering the Whitsundays in Queensland

I love everywhere I travel, as everywhere is beautiful for different reasons, but the breathtaking beauty of the Whitsundays is in a class of its own.

I finally got to do a flight over the Whitsundays so that I could get a glimpse of heart reef. It was one of those dreams come true moments.

The weather was perfect, the water colour, clarity and temperature is unbelievable, and I've been seriously thinking about moving to the Whitsundays to live.

Whitehaven Beach is as stunning as you imagine it would be. I wasn't sure if I'd see those 'brochure-perfect' views but I did.

We did a day tour with Ocean Rafting and had a fantastic day.

If you would like to try something a little different try a Crocodile Safari, we had a fabulous day and it's a great way to safely see some of the larger local wildlife in the wild.

As we were staying in Airlie Beach we did a day trip with Cruise Whitsundays to see Hamiliton Island where we had a lovely rest day by the pool.

We also booked with Cruise Whitsundays on their Great Barrier Reef Adventure, it was a big day out but the snorkelling and diving opportunities are wonderful.

The other tours we somehow managed to fit into our jam-packed but fabulous week were the jetski morning adventure with Whitsunday Jetski Tours, the Falls to Paradise tour with Red Cat Adventures, and the sunset sail with Whitsundays Sailing.
